At the beginning of July, the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) hosted the sixth exchange visit of SD Europe’s supporter liaison project, LIAISE, which is funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme and UEFA.

At the end of May, representatives of football clubs from three European countries took part in the fifth of 12 exchange visits under SD Europe’s supporter liaison and engagement project LIAISE, funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme and UEFA.

Last week, SD Europe met with UEFA in Nyon as part of the ongoing dialogue between the two sides.
The event was attended by senior representatives from UEFA, led by First Vice President Karl-Erik Nilsson, Vice President Michele Uva and General Secretary Theodore Theodoridis and by the three European supporters organisations SD Europe, Football Supporters Europe (FSE) and Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE).

At the end of March, SD Europe took part in a workshop in Portugal at the Cidade do Futebol in Caxias, Lisbon, hosted by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The workshop focused on the role of the supporter liaison officer (SLO) and the disability access officer (DAO). Representatives from the German Football League’s (DFL) Fan Affairs department travelled to London back in April to attend a meeting of Premier League supporter liaison officers (SLOs).
Ben Kandler, who was also involved with SD Europe’s recent LIAISE workshop in Stockholm, and his colleague Eric Roda Gracia were in England for three days, and attended one of the Premier League’s regular SLO meetings as part of their schedule.
