F.C. United of Manchester is a member-run club, which competes in England’s Conference North. Formed in 2005 by Manchester United fans following Malcolm Glazer’s takeover of the Old Trafford club, it is a community football club owned and democratically run by its 5000+ members.
The ISN brings together the growing number of member-run clubs, Supporters’ Trusts and fan organisations in the Republic of Ireland, and was founded in 2013. Two of its main objectives are to promote Fan Ownership in Irish football and to give guidance and support to anyone seeking it.

Founded in 2008, it has become a key stakeholder in Swedish football, ensuring that the voices of supporters are represented. In 2013, it successfully campaigned to preserve the ‘50+1’ rule that enshrines member ownership of clubs.
