In the beginning of August, Logroño, Spain, hosted the annual meeting of Federación de Accionistas y Socios del Fútbol Español (FASFE), ‘VI JORNADAS FÚTBOL POPULAR’ for a weekend with the Spanish fùtbol popular movement.
The meeting was hosted by local fan-owned club, SD Logroñés, with representatives of Supporters in Campo, the Italian umbrella group for supporters’ trusts and community clubs, and a board member of Hapoel Katamon, a member-run club in Jerusalem, Israel flying to sunny Spain to meet the network.

At the beginning of July, the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) hosted the sixth exchange visit of SD Europe’s supporter liaison project, LIAISE, which is funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme and UEFA.
The delegation was headed by SD Europe’s project manager, Stuart Dykes, and included Jakub Novakovski and Dariusz Łapiński of the Polish Football Association’s Infrastructure and Organization of Events department and Martin Schlosser, head of Austria’s National Information Point for Combating Football Hooliganism in the role of external expert….

It is an exciting weekend for fan-owned football, as HFC Falke will celebrate its 5-year anniversary by hosting a friendly match with fellow fan-owned side YB SK Beveren in Hamburg!
The two sides will utilise their preseason plans to highlight the growth of fan-owned football throughout Europe.
HFC Falke will be hosting the Beveren first team, as well as supporters for a day of football, celebration, and aspiration. The clubs have always had a special relationship and the opportunity for the supporters…

At the end of May, representatives of football clubs from three European countries took part in the fifth of 12 exchange visits under SD Europe’s supporter liaison and engagement project LIAISE, funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme and UEFA.
The visit was hosted by the Ligová Fotbalová Asociace (Czech Football League) and saw representatives of the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) and the European Think Tank of Football Safety and Security Experts plus the SLO of Polish Ekstraklasa outfit Jagiellonia Białystok…
SD Europe is a non-profit organisation meeting the need for meaningful supporter involvement in the running of football clubs and the sustainable development of the game as a whole.
Active in 38 countries across Europe, SD Europe represents grassroots and national supporters organisations, as well as amateur and professional member-run football clubs.
The organisation also supports the implementation of the supporter liaison officer (SLO) licensing requirement on behalf of Uefa, and has observer status on the Standing Committee of the European Convention on Spectator Violence.
SD Europe is currently managing a two-year Erasmus+ project (LIAISE) with the support of the European Commission.
