Disabled Crawley Town FC supporters share ideas on improving club's facilities

Crawley Town FC disabled football supporters attended an event organised by the club and shared their ideas on how the ground’s facilities could be improved. The Crawley Town Disabled Supporters’ Association launch event was also attended by the club’s CEO Michael Dunford, manager John Gregory and representatives of the players.

The Association was set up in cooperation with the club’s SLO, Barb Robinson, and one of the founding members is the Deputy Mayor of Crawley, Chris Chesire, who holds a Reds’ season ticket and uses a wheelchair.

Mr Dunford said the club hoped there would be sufficient interest for a discussion on how the association would work and to set up an organising committee for it.

Mr. Chesire said: “It’s for a good relationship between disabled supporters and the club and a two-way process for communication to make sure we give the best matchday experience disabled supporters can have“.
