LIAISE Timeline
Below are the LIASE project events starting from the Launch Meeting in January 2018 to its Close Meeting in December 2019.
LAUNCH MEETING: PRAGUE
The project’s opening meeting was hosted by the LFA in March 2018 and saw the LIAISE partners come together as a group for the first time. Read the report here
TRAINING WORKSHOP ON SUPPORTER LIAISON: STOCKHOLM
SEF organised the first training workshop, closely co-ordinating with the SD Europe team to present three days of information and practical insight in Supporter Liaison. Read the report here
EXCHANGE VISIT 1: CZECH FOOTBALL LEAGUE (LFA) TO BULGARIAN FOOTBALL UNION
The first exchange visit of the project took place in Sofia around the Bulgarian Cup final in May, with the LFA travelling to spend time with their BFU counterparts. Read the report here
EXCHANGE VISIT 2: FRENCH NATIONAL SUPPORTERS ASSOCIATION(ANS), FRENCH FOOTBALL FEDERATION, BULGARIAN FOOTBALL UNION, CZECH FOOTBALL LEAGUE(LFA), AND FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS EUROPE TO POLISH FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION(PZPN)
The visit was hosted by the Polish Football Association (PZPN) and saw representatives of the French National Supporters Association (ANS), the French Football Federation (FFF), the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU), the Czech Football League (LFA) and Football Supporters Europe (FSE) travel to the northeast city of Białystok. WORKSHOP 3: LIAISE PARTICIPANTS HEAD TO SOFIA FOR 3RD WORKSHOP
LIAISE participants and stakeholders attended a packed two-day workshop that was hosted by the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU). Read the report here
EXCHANGE VISIT 3: SWEDISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE (SEF) AND THE SWEDISH FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS UNION (SFSU) VISIT LYON, FRANCE
The French Football Federation (FFF), French National Supporters Association (ANS) and French League (LFP) host their Swedish counterparts in Lyon, France. Read the report here
EXCHANGE VISIT 4: FOURTH LIAISE VISIT TAKES PLACE IN CZECHIA
the LIAISE project partners from Poland met with representatives of the Czech Football League (LFA), the Czech Football Association (FACR).
EXCHANGE VISIT 5: BULGARIAN FOOTBALL UNION TO CZECH FOOTBALL LEAGUE(LFA)
The visit was hosted by the Ligová Fotbalová Asociace (Czech Football League) and saw representatives of the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) and the European Think Tank of Football Safety and Security Experts plus the SLO of Polish Ekstraklasa outfit Jagiellonia Białystok travel to the city of Olomouc. EXCHANGE VISIT 6: POLISH FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION (PZPN) TO BULGARIAN FOOTBALL UNION
The exchange visit’s main focus was to showcase the work of local supporter liaison officers with an insight into the matchday operations and an in-depth look at the work surrounding the organisation of the Bulgarian Super Cup game between Ludogorets and Lokomotiv Plovdiv. Read the report here
EXCHANGE VISIT 7: POLISH FA (PZPN) HOST SD EUROPE SLO TEAM & LIAISE DELEGATES IN WROCLAW
During this visit the Polish Football Association (PZPN) hosted SD Europe and LIAISE delegates to showcase the work of SLOs in Poland in addition to the Kibice Razem (supporters together) project. Read the report here
EXCHANGE VISITS 8 & 9: TWO LIAISE VISITS IN SWEDEN
SD Europe and Svensk Elitfotboll invited LIAISE project participants to Norrköping and Malmö for the eighth and ninth exchange visits to demonstrate the implementation of the SLO role in Sweden. Read the report here
EXCHANGE VISIT 10 & 3RD WORKSHOP: PORTUGUESE FOOTBALL FEDERATION (FPF) HOST LIAISE VISIT IN LISBON
The SD Europe SLO Team and LIAISE project partners headed to Lisbon for the third and final LIAISE workshop and the tenth exchange visit. Read the report here
EXCHANGE VISIT 11: SWEDISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE AND SWEDISH FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS UNION VISIT PORTUGAL
The penultimate exchange visit took place in Portugal, where the FPF hosted during a Premeira Liga match. Read the report here
EXCHANGE VISIT 12 & CLOSING MEETING: FRENCH FOOTBALL FEDERATION & LIGUE DE FOOTBALL PROFESSIONNEL HOST LIASE IN PARIS AND VISIT TO AMIENS
The project was brought to a close in Paris and the 12th and final exchange visit took place at Amiens SC. Read the report here
