With three rounds of their season still remaining, member-owned club US Fasano has secured promotion from 6th tier (Promozione) to 5th tier (Eccellenza) in Italy.
The club was first founded in 1964 as Associazione Sportiva Fasano, but folded in 2010 and then reformed as US Fasano in 2011.
The trust, Il Fasano Siamo Noi, was established in January 2016 and took over the club in March the same year. This is the second year in a row US Fasano has gained promotion.
