LIAISE was a unique two-year collaborative partnership that brings together supporters, football associations, football leagues and stakeholders including Uefa and the EU Think Tank of Football Safety and Security Experts for the first time.
The project aims for a Liaison-based Integrated Approach to Improving Supporter Engagement. Activities focus on the development of the supporter liaison officer (SLO) role through a better understanding, awareness and implementation of established good practices, and will be coordinated by SD Europe.
LIAISE kicked off in January 2018 and ran for two years until December 2019. A number of activities and events had already been held prior to its kick-off. For more information on all the activities planned as part of the project, see Project Background.
